Yana Gupta hails from Czechoslovakia. She came to India on a tour, fell in love with a Pune based artist, got married and stayed on. A former ramp model, Yana quickly became Lakme's new face for the next three years after moving to Mumbai. Word has it that the company spotted her on the cover of the swimsuit issue of Man's World.

Yana, who's been modelling since the age of 16,worked in Milan, Paris and Vienna, even working on brands like Nivea and Shiseido before settling in India. In India she has featured in several print and TV commercials and also did music videos for Shail and Merlin and Jalwa 3. She has also been walking the ramp and enjoys it very much.
