The
Wedding season brings along with it trends that are gorgeous,
stylish, glamorous and elegant. This years Bridal Trends was
showcased in Kolkata and brought around the work of leading
designers in India and Bangladesh including Ritu Kumar, Bhairavi
Jaikishan, Vlnita Pittie, Niki Mahajan, Maheen Khan (Bangladesh)
and Nomi Ansari (Pakistan) etc. The intention is to fuse together
fashion from across the borders and present a show that is
truly diverse and transcends all political boundaries.
The fashion show started off with pomp and applaud amidst
the magical ambience choreographed by Delhi's creative choreography
duo Asha Kochar and Bidyun Singh. The stage was set on fire
by India's top models on the ramp including Aditi Govitrikar,
Dipanita Sharma, Indrani Bannerji, Aparna Kumar, Jesse Randhawa,
Vidisha Pawate, Tapur Chatterjee, Viveka Babajee, Ayesha Prem,
Bhavana Kumar, Sapna Kumar, Michelle, Bhavana Singh, Udita
Goswami, Tina Chatwal, Akansha Yadav and Tabassum (model from
Bangladesh).
