PURI DIP [Calorie Count: 42]
(preparation time: 15 minutes, cooking time: 5 minutes, serves 8.)

Ingredients:


8 TOMATOES
2 CAPSICUMS
2 FINELY CHOPPED ONIONS
1 TEASPOON CHILLI POWDER
2 TEASPOONS OIL
1 TEASPOON SUGAR
SALT TO TASTE
ACCOMPANIMENT
BAKED PURIS (OPTIONAL)


Preparation :
Put the tomatoes in hot water. After 10 minutes, remove the skin and chop. Pierce each capsicum with a fork and hold over the flame until the skin blackens. Remove from the heat, rub off the burnt skin and chop. Heat the oil and fry the onions for 1/2minute. Add the tomto, capsicums, chilli powder and salt and cook for a few minutes.
