BABY CORN PULAO [Calorie Count: 150]


Ingredients:


200 GMS BABY CORB
2 CUPS RICE
1 CUP SLICED ONION
CUP CORIANDER LEAVES
4 TBSPS OIL
2 CUPS HOT WATER
2 CUPS COCONUT
1 STICK CINNAMON
1 CLOVE
1 CARDAMOM
1 TSP WHITE PEPPER
1 TSP CUMINSEEDS
2-3 RED CHILLIES
SALT TO TASTE


Preparation :
Heat the oil. Fry the cumin and red chillies. Add the sliced onion and the whole garam masala (cinnamon, clove and cardamom). Fry till the onions are golden brown in colour. Add the coriander leaves. Cut the baby corn into two halves and boil inwater for ten minutes. Add the coconut milk to it. Make up the volume to four cups by adding more hot water, if required. Add the baby corn and the water to the fried onions. Add rice and salt to taste. Simmer on a low flame till the rice is cooked.
