Rekha dances on remix song!!

Rekha will be dancing on the song 'Kabhi aar kabhi paar', originally composed by O.P.Nayyar's for the 1954 film Aar Paar. The dance number is shot for Gautam Ghose's Yatra and the makers of the film are using the remixed version of the song. This will be Rekha's second dance track on a popular number in recent years, after her first performance in Parineeta. The film also stars Nana Patekar who is a novelist in the film. He is writing a fiction in which Rekha is the protagonist. Talking about Rekha, director Gautam Ghose says that she was a little apprehensive in the initial days of the shoot as the ambience was completely different from big commercial films, but later she got completely involved.

Vikram dubs for Aftab!!

It is yet not clear whether Ankahee is the life story of Vikram Bhatt but what is very much clear is that Vikram has lend his voive to Aftab. It seems that Vikram felt that Aftab's voice was not mature enough for the character. So the director decided to dub for the actor, himself. This is the second time that Vikram has dubbed for Aftab, the first movie was Kasoor.

Rakhi Sawant is once again caught in the midst of a controversy. And this time its more than one thing that has landed her in trouble. The item girl is currently performing in different parts of Maharashtra. While performing in Kolhapur on May 18, a case was registered against her for obscene costumes and gestures. She was performing in the capacity of the ambassador of a popular beer brand. Justifying her stand, Rakhi said that she had no problems with being an item girl. In fact, the costume that she wore was provided by the show's organisers. That's not all. She is also in trouble for performing on two T-Series numbers, Dus and Zinda Hoon Main at Vashi on May 16. Although she has a contract with T-Series, she did not take their prior permission to perform on the above songs. So the music label has sent her a legal notice and is suing her for Rs.1 crore.

Priyanka's former secretary seeks bail!!

Prakash Jaju, the former secretary of actress Priyanka Chopra, on Wednesday filed anticipatory bail application in the sessions court in Mumbai. Priyanka's father Ashok Chopra had filed a complaint in Oshiwara police station two days ago that Jaju was sending "vulgar" and "threatening" SMS to the actress. Fearing arrest in the case, Jaju on Wednesday approached the court. He also sought interim protection till the application was decided on, but the court refused to grant interim protection from arrest and adjourned the matter till Thursday. Jaju has said in his anticipatory bail application that he had entered into an agreement with her for years 2001 and 2002, and as per the agreement, Priyanka owed him Rs 69 lakhs. He denied that he ever threatened her or sent vulgar SMSs. He also claimed that he had earlier filed a suit for the recovery of his dues in metropolitan magistrate's court, but later withdrew it when Priyanka agreed to settle the matter amicably.

Abhishek to do 3 Rakeysh Mehra films!!

Looks like Rang De Basanti has done the trick for Rakeysh Mehra. After directing Amitabh Bachchan in his first film Aks, Rakyesh Mehra has now got in Abhishek Bachchan to do his next film. But that's not all. Astonishingly, Abhishek has signed up three straight films with the director. The first film to go on floors is titled Delhi 6. Rakyesh Mehra's Delhi 6 is based on his growing up years in Chandni Chowk area of New Delhi. Abhishek will play the character based on Rakeysh Mehra himself. The last of these three films with Abhishek, Rakeysh has also planned to cast Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan. The film is a musical and is titled Bhairavi. Apparently, there are many interesting stories about the associations of the two in the past. According to Mehra, he was to launch Abhishek Bachchan with Samjhauta Express. Unfortunately, things didn't work out and the project got shelved. After this, Mehra wanted Abhishek to play the character of Karan in Rang De Basanti, which was finally played by Siddhartha. Finally, the duo has teamed for a hat trick now. Something which we will be definitely looking forward to!

Aishwarya charges 1 crore a minute !!

Everybody saw the performance of the gorgeous Aishwarya Rai at the recent closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. Aishwarya looking stunning and represented India along with Lara Dutta, Rani Mukherjee and Saif Ali Khan. It was a total eleven-minute show where Bollywood film stars showed the world what the forthcoming Commonwealth Games in Delhi has in store for them. In the total 11 minute performance, Ash's performance was just three-minute long. This is definitely a good gesture but do you have any idea how much the beautiful actress has charged for the show. Ash reportedly took a whopping Rs Three crore, which makes it to one crore for one minute! Lara and Rani got Rs. 1.5 crore each, whereas Saif got Rs. 75 lakh.Well this definitely is the most expensive show of all times.
